To say that I have forgotten to post is an understatement.
I have been working at trying to find a permanent job for the past year. I did work for about two and a half months, but that did not last. So I have been trying since January of this year. I have hit a wall... that one that you don't want to do anything. Unfortunately this also applies to my sewing/quilting/crafts and I have so many to work on!
Still, I keep trying, up until this past week I had not had an interview since April 1st. Yes, I do wish that was a joke, but it has taken close to 3 months for me to even be called and invited. It does not help that along the way I have put back on any and all weight that I had lost and even 'found' some more... Not a good thing... if you know what I mean :)
Today it is off to the MFA to see the glass exhibit before it closes this weekend... so away I go :)
Thanks for stopping by :)

Life...
So the weather is blah, raining once again. I am not a fan of muggy weather, but it is so much better than the snow that the Boston area received this past winter.
Speaking of winter... did you see the news that "Fugitive South Boston gangster James "Whitey" Bulger, wanted for 19 murders, was captured last night in Southern California, the result of a tip from FBI television spots that began airing this week. His capture ended a 16-year manhunt that spanned the globe." Interesting that the head of the famous "Winter Hill Gang" is now captured. It only took 16 years to catch the man.
So, trying to finish a thread portrait today, pick up Child of Mine and friend at the airport, and clean the apartment for the impending visit of the kids tomorrow.
Need to spend some time looking for employment, but the news from the AP today is "The latest report on applications for unemployment benefits shows the U.S. job market is still weak." Not very encouraging if you ask me... But I continue to search. You should check out the news story at: http://apne.ws/iQ0zLZ don't know how long they will keep the story posted.
Off to sew.
Hope you have enjoyed today's rant and had time to enjoy your coffee as well.
